POW/MIA Day to Be Observed in Monticello

The Fallen Comrade Table, present at every Sullivan County POW/MIA Recognition Day, features a specific set of items designed to remember American servicepeople who were/are Prisoners of War or Missing in Action.

Monticello, NY – The Sullivan County Veterans Service Agency will host a special ceremony in honor of POW/MIA Recognition Day at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 20 inside the lobby of the Sullivan County Government Center, 100 North Street, Monticello. The public is cordially invited to attend.

“Please join us in taking the time to remember those who were Prisoners of War (POW), those who are Missing in Action (MIA), and their families,” offered Veterans Service Agency Director Stephen Walsh.
