Monticello, NY – The offices of the Sullivan County Clerk will close, starting Thursday afternoon, September 19, to complete renovations.
“Many visitors to our offices in the Government Center have seen that we’re reconfiguring our space to better serve the public,” noted County Clerk Russell Reeves. “In order to allow our Division of Public Works to finish these much-needed renovations, we’ll have to halt public access for a day and a half.”
The offices will close at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 19 and remain closed throughout Friday, September 20. Doors will reopen on Monday, September 23 at 9 a.m.
“Please note that the DMV Office will stay open as usual, and the services my office offers online will still be available,” Reeves added. “I apologize for any inconvenience, but I’m confident people will find the new offices very user-friendly, with more open space that makes our services and employees easier to locate.”
