Hurleyville, NY – The Sullivan County Parks & Recreation Department is proud to unveil an exhibition showcasing photographs taken of the landscapes and wildlife at our parks and museum!
Featuring the work of local photographers, the new exhibition is on display at the Sullivan County Museum, 265 Main Street, Hurleyville, and admission is free. The Museum is open Tuesdays-Saturdays 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m., and the exhibition will be on display throughout the summer.
A selection of photos from this exhibition are also on display in the lobby of the Government Center, 100 North Street, Monticello.
“In late 2024, we accepted submissions from the public of photographs taken at our parks and museums. We had a team of judges go through the submissions and choose 24 photos to be on display,” said Assistant Recreation Director Fiona Feltman, who conceived and implemented the exhibition. “Thank you to everyone who submitted photographs! Your submissions offered a unique perspective on the beauty of our parks that make our County so special. We congratulate the photographers whose work was chosen and thank you for allowing us to see our beloved spaces through your eyes.”
