Sax and Stories: A Memorable Afternoon with a Concord Alum

Hurleyville, NY – The Sullivan County Historical Society, located inside the Sullivan County Cultural Center and Museum in Hurleyville, cordially invites you to a free musical performance featuring renowned local saxophonist Larry Ravdin on Sunday, May 6, from 2-3 p.m.

Larry spent 30 years playing with the Concord Orchestra and has accompanied such greats as Sammy Davis Jr., Rita Moreno and Chita Rivera. Between songs, Larry will share some of his personal stories of life in the time of the historic Catskill resorts of Sullivan County.

The musical group Little Sparrow will host the program. The event is free, and everyone is welcome!  

This series of performances will continue on the first Sunday of each month. Donations are welcomed to benefit the Sullivan County Historical Society.
