Carol Smith and Aldo Troiani of Little Sparrow Smiling for the Camera

Hurleyville, NY – Dive into the most iconic decade in American history at the Sullivan County Cultural Center & Museum, just a few miles from the Woodstock festival site!

“Live Music and History: Songs and Stories of the Sixties” will be presented on March 4 from 2-3 p.m. by the Sullivan County Historical Society and Carol Smith & Aldo Troiani of the local band Little Sparrow. Both the performance and admission to the Cultural Center’s exhibits will be free for the entire family (donations, however, are welcome)! Reservations are encouraged by calling 845-434-8044.

Carol and Aldo will not only play and sing but also talk with the audience about the music and culture of the Woodstock era, which redefined a generation and has played a prominent role in Sullivan County ever since. The program will be an intimate acoustic show, held in the Museum’s Timeline Gallery.

This will be the first of a series of concerts and talks, scheduled to take place on the first Sunday of each month. Different performers and speakers (to be announced) will be featured.

The Cultural Center is located at 265 Main Street in the revitalized downtown of Hurleyville. For more information, visit www.scnyhistory.org or call 845-434-8044.
