Liberty, NY - The Sullivan County Soil & Water Conservation District is pleased to announce their annual spring Tree & Shrub Program.
Landowners can choose from a wide variety of deciduous and conifer trees and shrubs and specialized packets such as Nut Tree, Flowering Tree & Shrub, Wildflower, Butterfly and perennials. Seedling varieties allow for you, the purchaser, to select what’s right for your needs. They offer a range of quantities at reduced costs to promote conservation plantings.
Other items available through the program are fruit trees and wildlife habitat housing.
Trees and shrubs offered through the District program can be planted for a number of purposes such as wildlife habitat, windbreaks, hedges, screens and streambank and road bank stabilization.
