Fallsburg Police Chief to Speak at Next Town Hall

Monticello, NY – Legislature Chairman Robert Doherty announces that Town of Fallsburg Police Chief Simmie Williams will join Legislature Vice Chair Mike Brooks, County Manager Josh Potosek and Public Health Director Nancy McGraw at the next Live Town Hall this Monday, June 15 at 1 p.m.

“Simmie’s entire life speaks to proud community service, and he will share what it means to be a police officer, an African-American, and a Sullivan County resident during this moment in our history,” Doherty stated.

Questions for any of the presenters can be submitted via either email at sctownhall@sullivanny.us or private message to www.facebook.com/sullivancountygov and are due by 7 a.m. June 15. They should be related to COVID-19 (2019 Novel Coronavirus) concerns and issues, phrased respectfully and apolitically.

The Town Hall will begin at 1 p.m. June 15 at www.facebook.com/sullivancountygov. The video will also be made available to view afterwards on the Coronavirus info page on the County’s website, www.sullivanny.us.

There will be no Town Hall presentation on Thursday, June 18. However, that day will feature two live-streamed Legislature meetings: the Executive Committee at 9 a.m., and the Full Board at 11 a.m. Both can be watched at http://sullivancountyny.iqm2.com/Citizens/Default.aspx.
