Hurleyville, NY – On Sunday, February 16, at 2 p.m., the Frederick Cook Society will present an afternoon of live Americana and folk music featuring Hudson Valley favorites Annie and Mike Baglione.
Mike Baglione is a founding member of the bluegrass bands Tin Roof, Oxford Depot and the Jersey Mountain Boys. He has performed at coffee houses and on festival stages throughout the Northeast, and has also been heard live on radio stations WFDU, WJFF, WTBQ and WNYC.
Annie Baglione plays guitar, bass, concertina, and accordion. She performs throughout the Hudson Valley as part of the old-time band Breakneck Annie, and has performed on the famous Clearwater Sloop, as part of the Clearwater Music Festival.
Together, they perform traditional folk songs as well as the music of artists like Gillian Welch, John Denver and John Prine.
Carol and Aldo Troiani (aka Little Sparrow) will host this fun afternoon of bagels, coffee, tea and music, which will be held at the Sullivan County Museum, 265 Main Street, Hurleyville.
