I hope everyone had a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving and this message finds you in good Health.

November was a very busy, crazy month for us with structure fires, wildland fires, car accidents and some major snow storms. I thank you, The Emergency Services within Sullivan County for your professionalism and coordination for working together.

Fire Reports, please as we are winding down the year make every effort to keep up with the reports, our goal again is to get 100% reporting.  If you need assistance with the reports, please contact BC-3 Jack Halchak.

Training courses, we are finishing up 2024 training on December 18th.  The winter courses are advertised on the County Website and LMS registrations is open. The training tower will be closed from December 15 to April 1st. Reminder that the training center is available for individual or joint fire department use, please if interested contact the training center at least 2 weeks prior to use.

Healthiest Fire Department Challenge: The countdown has started, 1 month left to join the Sullivan 180 Healthiest Fire Department Challenge starting January 1, 2025. Our brave Firefighters of Sullivan County give so much, let’s take that step to help make it healthier and safer for them. If you haven’t registered yet there is still time. Please give Sullivan 180’s Outreach Coordinator Lindsay Wheat a call at 845-295-2683 or email  Lindsay@sullivan180.org  to set up your department meeting and register.

December elections are coming up good luck to all, if you have elections please contact you Deputy Coordinator with any and all updates ASAP.
