The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act
WIOA is a program that is designed to financially fund, strengthen and improve our Public Workforce, and aid those with significant barriers to employment, into high-quality jobs and careers and help employers hire and retain skilled workers. The Center for Workforce Development maintains a network of grants and training opportunities to help you invest in your own growth. We serve Adults, Dislocated Workers and Youth.

Supportive Services: provided to individuals who are participating in career or training services and are unable to obtain the needed services elsewhere to achieve success.
On the Job Training: Through our On-The-Job Training Program, local businesses teach participants how to perform job duties while working in the role. Through hands-on teaching and coaching, employees learn practical skills and knowledge they need to perform their job.
