Absentee Voters Have a Choice to Make
Monticello, NY – The Sullivan County Board of Elections wants voters to know about a recent change in New York State election law that may influence their decision about casting a ballot as an Absentee Voter. This law, which became effective January 1, 2022, will change the ability to vote in person on a voting machine.
In the past, Absentee Voters could change their minds and instead vote in person on a voting machine either during Early Voting or on Election Day.
